On a day when everyone seemed to run like garbage, Thayer and Adam somehow both ended Sunday on a good note. Thayer made it to the final table of the UB 500 and for once ran really well. At the final table he won a lot of huge pots and like usual got it in way ahead mostly. He made it to HU with about even stacks. When it got to HU Thayer started to run bad and make good hands when the other guy was flopping monsters. Thayer took down 2nd for $12k. Adam ran about 15 pages worth of shittiness all day. His last tourney of the night, the 33r, he started to run well. He got it HU and got the other guy really low. His opponent made an exxcellent comeback but he was no match for Adam and Adam eventually took it down for $7200. Other Wafflecrushers had decent runs/days. Hertz cashed in 5 tournies and FT bubbled the 65k. Shaun made a deep run in the million and had a top 5 stack but it didn't pan out. It was a pretty solid Sunday for Wafflecrushers let's hope that they continue to run good. (LOL)

Shaun Fucking Deeeb x3
Nothing really happened last night for anyone but Shaun. Thayer had great stacks semi-deep into a lot of tournies and just ran really bad losing all of them. Jon went very far in the 1k and got 15th after running his 66 into AA in a BVB matchup. Shaun also made it far in the 1k. After building a huge stack Shaun entered the final table with about an average stack. Shaun went very carddead at the final table and eventually got pretty short. He ninja'd his way back and became the chipleader with 3 people left. He ran pretty bad 3 handed and got good hands in way behind. He got 3rd for $40k. Great job Shaun!

Cheers For Adam!
Adam had the best run of the night and congrats to him for getting the biggest score of his career. Adam went deep in the FTP Weekly 100r and couldn't have played any better. I talked to him after the tournament and he said post rebuy period he sucked out for all his chips once the whole tourney. That suckout was the pot that gave him a top 5 stack with less than 30 people left. He got it in with 65 against AA on a 43j flop. He hit his straight and that kept him in the tournament. At the final table Adam ran pretty poorly in terms of getting hands and getting 3 bet. It seemed that when he was stealing he'd get action and when he wasn't he wouldn't. Adam eventually got 3rd for 15k when the chipleader who may have been mentally challenged called his all in for 15 BB's with QJ against Adam's A2 and he flopped trip queens. This was Adam's biggest score so congrats Adam lets hope this amazing streak Wafflecrush is on continues!

Thayer, Jon, Both Cash In 1k
Thayer and Jon both made deep runs in the 1k Monday and both got a little unlucky to lose. Jon lost an avg stack pot in a blind vs blind battle with his AJ losing to the opponents Q5. The flop was j84 all diamonds and Jon held the ace of diamonds. The board came 67 no diamonds and the opponent hit a straight.
Thayer ran pretty well up until about 2 tables left. He 3 bet a MP raiser all in from the SB with AJ and the opponent had AA and held. GL tomorrow night!

Psyduck Leads The Come Close Squad
Sunday was a very long day for Wafflecrush as many people came close but couldn't finish. Adam bubbled basically everything. Thayer ft'ed a tournament and got 4th. He also came close in the 200r, and the 100 1r 1 ao on FTP. Shaun made a good run in the 100r but bubbled. Shaun also got 3rd in the 50k on PS for about $8500. Jon also made a good run in that 100r and FT'ed. He got 7th when he got it all in with A7 vs K5 on a 10103 board. (WTF was K5 doing?). Vivek had the run of the day when he made the Sunday Million FT. This is an impressive feat as this is the 2nd straight week a Wafflecrusher has FT'ed. Vivek ran terribly and lost huge pots where he had the opponent crushed. He eventually lost K5 to A2 AIPF despite flopping 2 pair. GG Vivek.

Adam's Weeknight Return A Semi-Success
Two final tables and a final table bubble is pretty damn good. Fuckin internet. Early in the Thursday night Adam final tabled a $55 6 max on PS. He ran pretty bad at the final table and lost when his AQ ran into AK. Later in the night Adam was near the FT in the UB 150 and the 27.50 25k Gteed on PS when his internet went out. He couldn't return until he was down to about 5 BBs at the FT of UB and 3 BBs with 25 ppl left in the 27.50. He doubled in both but lost minutes later.
Ray also FT'ed the 1500 at the Wynn Classic. Unfortunately he lost a huge race and got 7th for $6300. Good job Ray!

Thayer's FT Leads Wafflecrush Charge
It was a rough Wednesday night for most Wafflecrushers. Thayer, however, played extremely well tonight. Thayer went deep in the 100 1 rebuy 1 add on and the 65k Gteed both on FTP. The 100r didn't end well, he was chip leader with 15 people left and got 14th when his KK ran into AA and his AQ lost to K9 on an A hi flop.
The 65k, however, did end well. Thayer was short stack heading into the final table and built his stack to where he was close to even with the other 4 people, 5 handed. The rest of the tournament took a really long time as it seemed no one could lose. Thayer eventually got 3rd when his K5 lost to 910 and than he shoved his last 6 BBs from the SB with 67 and got snapped by 88. He won about 11k for a good score. GJ Thayer!

Ray, Shaun Own Tuesday Night
Tuesday was a great night for Wafflecrush. Ray and Shaun were the only two playing but they did really well. Both FT'd the 100r. Shaun got 5th when Ray busted him 88 beating 22. Later Ray got 3rd when he lost KK to A9 for a lot of chips.
Shaun also FT'ed the Daily Double A, getting 2nd for around 2k. Shaun also went deep in the 50r on FTP. Shaun finished 14th.
Thayer cashed in the 1k event at the Wynn Classic. He made it to the final 3 tables but once again couldn't final table. Keep goin deep in live events Thayer, you'll win one of these times.

The Epitomy Of Wafflecrush
Jesus.....just Jesus, maybe I shouldn't be surprised by now. You'd expect when Wafflecrush profited over 60k in one Sunday I'd be ecstatic. But not today.
I'm gonna start off by congragulating Ray and Carter for playing amazing today. Everyone had deepish runs but these two stood out.
Carter went deep in the Sunday Million. Carter played amazing poker I don't think he got it in bad once in the last 100 people remaining. Carter final tabled and had about 25 BB's when the following hand happened. Blinds 200k/400k/, Carter's sitting in the SB with about 9.5 million, and the Villain is on the button with about 25 million. It folds to the button who raises to 1.1 million, Carter makes it 3.2 million and the button snap shoves. Carter quickly calls and turns over QQ and the Villain flips over A4cc. The flop comes 367cc. The turn is a 7. The river is an A and Carter is eliminated in 7th. He makes 20k in cash but that pot would have given him almost a 2x chiplead. Again, it's unfortunate this happened, but let's not forget about how amazing Carter played and hope that his awesome play continues.
Ray followed this up with an amazing run of his own. Ray was chipleader of the 100r with about 60 people left. He kept building and building and I have to say that until the final table he ran pretty horrible. At one point when the average stack was 200k, Ray lost 250k in pots in a 10 minute span, A4 losing to Q5, AK losing to A6, and AQ to A10. This didn't stop him and he ended up winning th tournament! He ran really hot heads up hitting two open ended straight draws all in against pairs. Ray played a really great tournament and deserved this more than anyone. Let's hope this is a trend that continues for Wafflecrush!

Thayer Only Player Playing Saturday
And it didn't go over too well. He'd either lose early, or make a deep run and get sucked out on. Perfect example, 100r, he builds a good stack, gets semi-deep, loses huge pot KK vs. QQ AIPF. Thayer only played the majors so it wasn't too many tournies but it's safe to say if he ran a little better he could've won something good. (I'm not too sure what that means because that's pretty much true for all amazing players.)
Also I'd like to take this post to welcome back Scott "SCTrojans" Freeman. After a decent span of not playing he played a bunch of tournies yesterday and it's good to see him back playing again. Poker missed you Scott.
